I know it’s probably not 100% accurate and some of the branches information maybe outdated, but I tried my best with official information.

By Number of JROTC units on California map
Army has 71 units
Navy has 49 units
Air Force has 49 units
Marine Corps has 21 units
Space Force has 1 Unit

CA Cadet Corps has over 110 unit in the state, but only has 48 units that are high school level. The rest are middle school and elementary school.

I’ve heard of and came across many small units. Many of them numbering between the 20 - 50 cadets.

My freshman near my School started with less than 20 cadets. Ended with 40. Sophomore year shot yo to 100. This year, my year junior year, we had a peak of 175 cadets enrolled. No student has been forced into the program due to scheduling and needing to fill classes.

The biggest unit I’ve came across was California Military Institute which has over 1k cadets enrolled into the school.

A couple years ago my District switched from using the flat breaded chicken mystery disks for our chicken sandwiches. And started serving us chicken that actually a chicken Piece. More meat too. I got the spicy chicken sandwich.

Monday was pasta day for the self serve bar in the cafeteria. This is what I got.

We had two choices of sauces. One was a marinara sauce with meatballs, and the other was a white creamy sauce. I put the white one on my pasta and I got the meatballs on the side.

I also got a side of some I think grilled or broiled vegetables. Also a bread loaf on the side. I also put a bunch of grated Parmesan over my meatballs and pasta.

And then I got some orange juice.

What I made myself at the self serve bar at my school. Today they had either chicken sandwich sandwiches or a burger depending on what meat you got yourself.

For school food this looks pretty good.

Choice between a normal bun or a pretzel bun. I added pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, pepper jack cheese,, mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, and island sauce.

I had orange juice and what I think are supposed to be onion rings

Only the patties were warm so I went to one of my classes to put in a microwave after I finish assembling it.
