I am looking to automate this new ceiling fan/light I bought as part of a bedroom makeover.

I really like the fan. It passed both the wife and mother test.

The problem is that we want to integrate it into a smart temperature control setup, e.g. when the window opens, turn off the radiator and turn on the fan. Switch off when my wife gets up in the middle of the night to prevent her getting too cold etc.

We use a homey pro 2023 as our hub, which i am still a novice to, but the rf radio on that doesn't appear to be in the same range as the remote, i also picked up a cheap broadlink rm4 pro to take a gamble on it, with the same issue.

I am willing to replace the driver in the fixture if that helps as it was just a separate box wired in any way.
