New favourite mechanical rust removal tool

The right angle die grinder + roloc disc combo is such a good system. I am a masochist and love owning old cars that need love and this tool is a must have.

The first part of the video shows a scotch brite 50mm bristle disc which I use for getting into corners and hard to reach spots. The second half is a 70mm regular scotch brite disc on a 50mm backer which is great for curves and quick removal. The roloc backing plates also make changing between discs instant.

Also excuse the Hercules die grinder, it was a gift from my partner who is from the US :)

Hey everyone, just curious to see if anyone here has ever performance tested regional variants of the same machine.

For example I have a Sebo K3 and a couple of K1's here in NZ which have 2100W motors however the US version is only 1250W.

There would have to be a difference since that extra energy isn't just vanishing but I'm curious how it would affect the real world performance.

In theory my Sebo K3 would also be able to outperform or at least be on par with a US 120V central vac. Even with the increased efficiency of hard line piping I can't see that making up the 900W difference especially with the shorter hose on a canister.

I'd be keen to hear your thoughts on the topic :)
