Would you still buy the new Just Dance if all 40 songs were songs you didn't know?
This has been something that's been on my mind for a bit, especially after the criticisms of JD2026's songlist. In my maybe unpopular opinion, I would still say yes if all the maps themselves were good. I always feel like a good map can save a "bad" song (Anxiety, Dance Monkey, etc.), but a "bad" map can't save a good song (Shape of You, Viva La Vida, etc.). Also songs like I'm An Albatraoz, Rasputin, Radical, Get Low, Woof, Whitney, and others are well-loved Just Dance maps that I doubt people really listened to before the game. I just feel like people put WAY too much priority on a song they want being in Just dance rather than... idk the dance... in the dancing game. Of course if a song I really love makes it to the game I'm ecstatic, but one of my favorite things about Just Dance is finding a song I've never heard, but the dance and aesthetic are so perfect that the map instantly becomes my favorite. I'd love to hear other people's opinions though!
