As we enter into spring/summer and I was fitting a new chain I thought about a little extra bling for the commuter/tourer, so fitted some fancy blue jockey wheels to swap out the stock plastic ones.

Didn’t realises how badly daily British riding was just on the paint finish of the rear mech cage, this was after a basic rub down on a Microshift Marvo.

Looks aside this derailleur has been faultless for 8000KM, the original Shimano Sora has 10000+ KM on it before it died so it’s still got a way to go, might even treat the cage to some new paint before winter.

Anyone else just fit little bits of fun to their bikes that no one will notice but brings you smiles for the miles?

My new to me Lite has arrived, and now all set up.

Different to the last time I had one, the virtual cards system took a bit of getting used to as I have an account and a few games on the kids Switch proper, but now it’s paired it nice and easy, going to try and not overload it with games otherwise I’ll just keep jumping around.
