Well it’s Friday and here comes …

The record that changed everything for me. 1988 brought the summer of love, smileys on t-Shirts and Acid was all over the radio. I was the only kid in class that was not into rock and heavy metal. I thought I was cool. Then came 1989 and I discovered this gem, realising that there was more than the usual „Acccciiiiiiieeed…“ stuff. I came in contact with the underground: Transmat, TRAX and Warp. My lifelong journey began…

Though “My Medusa” was a long time favourite of mine, I slowly grew into “Vertigo”. A perfect example of an evolving Acid track. 37 years later and I am still rocking my OG copy on my turntable.

One of my all time favourites. It’s the quintessence of NY/NJ House music for me.
