Got my first Schengen Visa (Germany) with 2 years validity.

I have applied for the visa on 9th of April and the application reached the embassy on 10th April. Today I got the visa for multiple entries valid for 2 years. I have applied for 2 entries and 33 days overall. All of my expenses are supported by the conference and the Summer for which I am going. I have institutional support as well. The following documents I submitted for the visa application -

  1. Cover Letter

  2. Home Institute's Bonafide Student Certificate, Sanction order for sponsoring my trip and NOC separately for both the cases.

  3. Two separate travel tickets.(Dummy tickets issued by Balmer Lawrie, Govt. Of India enterprise)

  4. Two separate confirmed accommodations

  5. As both the trips are sponsored by the Conference and the Summer School their sponsorship letter on the letterhead along with invitation letter

  6. One letter of recommendation from my Supervisor, forwarded by my school chair

  7. Bank Statement

  8. Travel Insurance

  9. My JRF award letter

  10. My payment details from PFMS know your payment section.

  11. Canara Bank portal payment schedule for showing the remaining fellowship period.

  12. Leave Approval signed and stamped by Supervisor, T.A supervisor and the school chair.

Germany Multiple Entry Visa

Hi, I am a PhD researcher of an IIT. I have been selected for one conference (May) and one summer school (June). For the first one, I will stay 5 days in Germany and for the second one I will stay 25 days in Germany and will come back by July.

My visa appointment date was 09.04.2026. Today I got the message that my passport has been dispatched through courier. It took 11 days in total and 7 working days precisely after reaching embassy. I have submitted the following documents-

  1. Cover Letter

  2. Home Institute's Bonafide Student Certificate, Sanction order for sponsoring my trip and NOC separately for both the case.

  3. Two separate travel tickets.(Dummy but reserved by Balmer Lawrie with agent name and contact number. Balmer Lawrie is Govt. agency for tickets)

  4. Two separate confirmed accomodation

  5. As both the trips are sponsored by the Conference and the Summer School their sponsorship letter on the letterhead along with invitation letter

  6. One letter of recommendation from my Supervisor, forwarded by my school chair

  7. Bank Statement

  8. Travel Insurance

  9. My JRF award letter

  10. My payment details from PFMS know your payment section.

I am superbly tensed and anxious. What are the chances of acceptance or refusal?

And I cannot track the consignment through the courier's website. Can anyone let me know how to track?
