Limp chives?
Is this normal? My chives don't seem to be able to hold their own weight. I water them often, and they are outside, on a south-facing balcony

So, I fucked up by kissing my cat's forehead too much, and now she expects it at all times. Whenever I lie down in bed, she comes up, stands on my chest and jams her head in my face, which is already annoying enough, but the worst part is if she doesn't get forehead kisses, she bites my nose. Any way I can get her to stop this?
As the title says, I'm really new to this, and while I find it very enjoyable, I don't actually know I'm sure how to play with my pup. She seems to be enjoying it too, but I've noticed she likes it when I'm a bit rougher, and I don't know how to do that safely. Like, when we're at the park she will jump up and down a bit, strike a pose and sort-of lunge at me without actually play-biting or anything. We usually end up sort-of spinning around one another but that's kind of it. Does she want me to play-fight with her? I've seen other people do that but I don't know how to do it in a way that's both entertaining and safe for her. She also likes to bite the leash and pull it, but I immediately stop that, because I don't want her to think the leash is a toy. Should I bring other toys to the park, so that we can play tug-of-war safely? Also, she is my mom's dog and I'm only taking care of her for a few days, so I don't want to teach her to be too rough for my mom to actually handle her. She is an 8 month-old Australian shepherd mix, btw
So, I am taking care of my mom's dog for a few days, and, while she's usually very well-behaved, whenever I put on her leash, she pulls like a sled dog. I know this is not my problem to fix, but I'm curious if there are any short-term techniques I could use to get her to pull less while I walk her. So far, I've found a tutorial on how to do corrective u-turns and those seem to have helped, but I've now heard that "leash checks" are a controversial training technique so I don't know if I should continue doing those or not. What do you think?
