Why do jobs say they are urgently hiring and in need of employees, but when I apply, I don’t get an interview because ima college student or when I do get selected for an interview, I’m not hired because I look “young” and I’m 18 or because I’m a college student. And after all that the job gets posted right back up for that same position. Do jobs just prefer to be short staffed then actually hire someone now .

Does anybody know any jobs that’s hiring in the Tampa/riverview area or somewhere around there? My mom has been jobless for 1 month now and has been trying to find a job, but every job she applies to and does a interview at, she doesn’t get a call back, but they will still have signs up or the job up on indeed. She has a GED and is experienced with customer service, cashier, and barista jobs. I’m currently also trying to find a job as I am finishing up my 1st year of college. Thank you.
