Nottingham Forest was an interesting one, a good range of different shouts, some honourable mentions are: Steve Stone, Ian Woan, Andy Reid and Chris Bart-Williams. Again, based on the upvotes and responses one player just nicked it and that is Pierre Van Hooijdonk. A player I didn’t know a lot about I’ll be honest, after a bit of research into him I found out why he got put forward for this. Quite a prolific striker pretty much everywhere he went but didn’t come without his controversy.

Scored 34 goals for Forest to help get them back into the Premiership but the following season he wanted to leave and refused to play for large parts of the season and Forest ultimately got relegated.

There was so many contenders for Newcastle, Hatem Ben Arfa, Laurent Robert, Tino Asprilla, Pappis Cisse and Phillipe Albert to name a few. The overall winner based on upvotes and responses was Nobby Solano, known for his amazing right footed crosses into the box and great from dead-ball situations. Formed a brilliant partnership with Shearer as well creating 22 goals together.
