I’m looking for some advice/direction on the best way to modify my current camera setup.
I have a 2024 Fleetwood Flair 29M Class A motorhome with the factory-installed Axxera AVM2307S 7" multimedia receiver (Apple CarPlay / Android Auto).
The head unit displays the rear camera when:
“Camera” is selected from the source menu
The RV is shifted into reverse
The system also automatically switches to the left or right side cameras when the corresponding turn signal is activated.
After pulling the head unit, I found that it receives a single RCA video feed from a Connexx CVS150-01 three-camera video switcher.
My goal is to add a second monitor that will always display the rear camera full-time while driving, independent of the factory head unit.
While tracing wiring, I noticed:
The output from the CVS150-01 to the head unit is a single RCA connection. The rear camera appears to enter the CVS150-01 through a 6-pin Molex connector. The side cameras are switched by the CVS150-01 based on turn signal input. I know I could place an RCA splitter on the output of the CVS150-01 and feed both the factory radio and a second monitor, but that would still cause the monitor to switch to the side cameras whenever the turn signals are used.
What would be the best way to obtain a dedicated rear camera video signal for a separate always-on monitor?
Is there a way to tap the rear camera feed before it enters the CVS150-01?
Has anyone worked with this module before?
Would I need a video distribution amplifier or converter?
I’ve attached photos of:

Any advice would be appreciated
