My pre owned car broke down twice

I recently bought a pre-owned car, an Hyundai I20 Asta 2017 model, 2nd owner 66k driven at 4.13L.

It broke down twice last month.

  1. Battery completely drained, (I listen to music for 5 min with engine off) that's it it never charged again. The last owner said that the battery was 3 years old.

  2. There was a leak in the AC evaporator ( it happened after i went on a a long ride of 600km, suddenly AC stopped working while I'm returning) local mechanic confirmed that were a leak inside evaporator after testing.

My concern is that, is this normal in a 9 year old car ?

What else problems i can expect with this car ?, the odometer reading was genuine i cross checked the showroom track and last owner maintained the car well.

I am completely new to cars, I don't know much about the services and all.

Where should take my car to ?

  1. Local well known mechanic

  2. Hyundai showroom

And one more thing, car tyres grip was good but there was some little cracks on the side of the car. I am planning to change them by the end of this year, Is it safe to drive this car with these tyres ?

That local mechanic told that car was low on coolant as well.

Also I need some guidance on how to maintain car properly.

Thanks in advance.
