Looking for help editing my dark fantasy novel.
I am in the revision process for my first novel in a dark fantasy trilogy. The first draft ended up being around 146k words, and I think by the end of my first revision it’ll be around 150k-160k.
I’m starting to look into getting it published and saw that I’m going to need an editor. I’m not sure what kind of editor I’ll need or if there are people who do kinda like an all in one package situation. Or if I need to hire multiple editors?
I’m just unsure. I looked online for editors and it just further confused me.
If there’s anyone who could clear this up for me that’d be great as I’m getting closer to finishing my first revision every day. And then it’s on to beta readers.
Also, if anyone knows what I should be paying for editorial services so I don’t get scammed - please let me know as well.
