Be careful
We started my Audhd 7 yr old on Quelbree little over 6 weeks ago. He had been on concerta but was worried about loosing weight and low appetite. His psychiatrist was super excited to start him on this med. After two weeks he was so hyperactive but not horrible. After one month his dr said to bump to 200mg. Worst idea ever. He became almost manic and hyperactive. Was overly aggressive and emotional. His therapist were saying how he is not his normal self. He would attack his siblings for just looking at him. I tapered him off and hoping that he come back to his baseline. I would rather him be his normal adhd self than what I have seen. From what I have seen this med either works extremely well or it’s horrible. I am glad to see it works for some people but don’t be afraid to speak up if the person is extremely different.
