Recently mounted this guy on a hanging board, but i cannot for the love of god remember what species it is. Also have I hanged it upside down? I made sure its growth bud face slightly upward but now it looks kinda weird, or is that just how they look like?
This particular staghorn (platycerium Alcicorne i think) haven't received any growth for 1 week (no new leaves, no new shield leaves, the two leaves there didnt grow either). I know brown shield leaves are a normal occurrence but the stunted growth is starting to worry me. The other staghorns were fine and are growing normally, what the problem with this one in particular?
The Alcicorne is planted in sphagnum moss, inside the brown sponge. Given 6 hrs of purple and red light everyday. I only water them when the sphag. moss is dry to the touch.
