- crew defends ship against unresponsive intruder bro (okay could´ve tried to restrain it but given the crticiality of the mission and risks, carrying a damn nuke, they receiving the take him out order is understandable)

- bro kills entire crew (but it happens mostly to their "bad luck" missed shots etc. so its cool I guess)

- bro reaches main target, meets dad who killed also the crew and tells him that he never gave a flying f about his son, and dad then decides to die anyways

- bro nukes station as it was planned by the original mission, just brought the mission at the brink of failure that could´ve killed further thousands on earth because of further power surges.

- bro achieved nothing other than the crew on the original mission would´ve achieved, other than killing an entire crew of innocent astronauts with families and loved ones that will never see them again

- bro sleeps now well, feels calm, gf is back, and has cool psych eval score

I mean I like the psychological focus of the movie but this here was modern audience low-IQ wtf writing.

I played through all endings, all custom campaigns (except for haloween story not sure if its worth it? didnt flow with the movie memes)

And played through official coop campaign, purnell house, and this police purnel house (partially)

I am not fan of 30min suicide mode is there any other COF map one can play in singleplayer? (not suicide)

I downloaded them all but my map list is so long and chaotic 😞

It is some old school source engine horror fps. me and my snapchat friends are into horror but he keeps warning me that cof is "too much" and "gave him nightmares" first i was thinking he tries to troll me but he no i am serious i had to stop the game it was too much, taling something about woods and dark schools and that the topics are so dark that his fear became too much.

i cant believe it is so hard (perhaps he is still trolling me) and i am rather a very tough person (25yo, played resident evil 4 remake, elden ring, silent hill f with discord backup) and i plan to play at daylight and not alone with discord call/stream for support. i think this should be fine and nothing can happen there right. it is still a game and how can a 10yo game be so scary anyways not running on newest engines like ue5 and what. 10yo ago also horror understanding was stoneage with pt demo and modern gpus not existing.

since "that video" popped up which had basically zero influence because nboy listens to that tuber anyways there is renewed hate speech against remakes especially resident evil 4 remake

despite resident and other remakes being obectevily the better gamers with new tecnology and better in every regard than oudaded orginals made for ugly old hardware (snes and what) justb ecause they have weak hardware or cant afford switch new consoles. there is still haters that promote the ogs or dare to write negative steam reviews (which for some reason mods hear do not allowto post for exposing the lias). remakes are cleary better games and we have to stop hate speech

Cry of Fear, Afaid of Monstras, Silent Hills clasics (remake does it better less unecesary scary) are uncecesary scary just to srtres you out for not taking into acount gamer conditions and mental issues. this might workd in 20 years ago stoneage but modem games can do betta.

I also loved to play walking (+ sometimes hiding) sim horror. Layers of Fear, Observer, SOMA, it is cool but wow I am so burned out of this subgenre of horror gaming. They are all the same and snail pace moving.

Especially because newer productions often go into this super snail speed walking, drunken wonky cameras for iMmeRsIoN and "give me your camera so you dont miss my spook" scares with piano string loud sound that rather make me laugh in case I did not already sleep in having to snail back 5 minutes to the room next door because I missed an item there.

Despite overacting streamers is that really getting people excited still?

I recently played some old half life psychological horror mods with old gfx something with monsters and fear in the name. The horror was so good and you had great survival melee/shooting giving you a sense that next door something might jump out for you in millisecs, that stuff was scary. Forgot the names of these, one is on Steam the other was on moddersdb. the shooting was so good. no camera stealing... (un)real scares while dumping a mag by accident. more of this stuff please

Last one was "Jackie Tapes" released not long ago, which was quite big and like a new game, pretty great.
