Can we apply EB2-NIW (i-140) before H1B pick?
I’m currently on STEM OPT and planning to apply for EB-2 NIW (I-140). I had a couple of questions:
- Can I apply for EB-2 NIW even if my H-1B is not selected?
- If my I-140 is pending or approved, will it cause any issues later if I get H-1B and go for visa stamping in my home country?
Would really appreciate insights from anyone who has gone through a similar situation. Thanks!
