PSA about recording/photographing Digital Stars/future concerts
I don't like to use this Reddit account a whole lot anymore but I'm making this post now just so others who are attending this Thursday's Digital Stars in Toronto or even future Flavor Foley concerts see this.
At least this wasn't extremely apparent to me when I was in NYC (and looking through the subreddit likely not to others) but there is a STRICT no filming/photography policy for Digital Stars, and ricedeity themself has had to step in on a recent upload to clarify this.
PLEASE do not film or take pictures during events and ESPECIALLY don't post it online!!! If you have posted something, you should take it down now!!!
Jamie, Vane, and Rice all want to maintain a degree of anonymity, and considering the fact that at NYC someone tried to sneak into an employee's only room/backstage (before promptly getting their ass handed to them by security) it is perfectly understandable that they do not wish to have their face plastered all over the internet...
It is likely that this policy extends to all future Flavor Foley events as well. It is unfortunate that some of the unique scenes may become Vocalost(tm), but it is also likely they will reuse some sequences in the future or even post the scenes themselves if we are lucky.
