New owner of a 944 questions

Hey everyone. I'm the newest member of the 944 club as I've just picked up this '84 NA. I've been a mechanic for years but I haven't dove into anything Porsche before. Back story on this car is that it's sat for 6 years not running. Previous owner bought it not running, has put all new injectors, DME relay, Distributor, ignition coil, and an ECU. The car comped good on all cylinders and he swears up and down it's an electrical issue to the injectors. I'm going to take a stab at it but was wondering if there are any clever individuals who could give me a couple pointers on maybe where to look first? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Hey guys, I've been a mechanic for about 10 years, but I've finally got a home garage that is wired for 220v and I'd like to get a welder for at home for some side projects. I've determined I'm looking for something about 165a or so. I'd like to stay with a mig welder as it's what I'm most comfortable with. I've done some looking for some budget machines and I've come across a couple highly rated units on Amazon. Just wondering which one you would get and why? And if neither, why not? Just looking for some inputs :)
