We all know and probably have our own opinions on the famous deleted scenes of Titanic's 1997 film, like the "Hey Sonny, How Bout A Little Ice?" scene or the strange Dining Room fight sequence. However what many people don't realize is that these are only half of the movie's deleted scenes. Despite already being 40 minutes of cut material, if one is to read the script or take a look at production video and footage, there are many more cut shots, lines and scenes.
For examples:
-Extended shots of Thomas Andrews in the Smoking Room
-Extended scenes in the water with the bulldog Gamin de Pycombe
-Scenes of steerage going through the reception room
-Fabrizio's original death
-Extended boarding of Lifeboat 6
-And Cal being stopped from chasing Rose by two men.
Some of these scenes were have in low-quality 144p visual means to watch via the James Cameron Titanic Explorer; however unfortunately many of these scenes only survive via the script or production stills. Some, like the mail room scene, were never filmed at all and we only have concept art of them.
How many of these scenes do you think there are...and how likely do you think it is that we'll ever be able to see them in full?
