Where do scammers get information from?
I work in a fintech and applied for hdfc tata credit card in my office premises, via hdfc credit card booth. Few days pass and I get message from hdfc that I have credit card number ready for virtual transactions. On same day I get a call in evening from a guy named Alam, who not just had my name, but my dOB, when I applied , which card I applied and ofcourse my mobile number. He had already send me apk and was very convincing to ask me install to activate credit card and get benifits. I did not ask benifits but pretend to have another call and cut phone.
How do they get so much information in first place? They are just so confident, with improper english.
