Hi community members,

I have recently purchased a TATA Tiago and have done approx 2500 KMs till now in about a month. My use case is 70% highway and the rest 30% in city. I have tracked all the fuel expenses till date and found that the car has returned approx 14KMPL till date. (Tankful method)

I have following observations with r/o the mileage of my car:-

1. The mileage shown on MID is very optimistic and is not accurate. When compared to tankful to tankful method, I find that it inflates the mileage by about 1.5 to 2 KMPL.

2. The true mileage of my car in city hovers around 12-13 KMPL.

3. In the highways (it's a state 2 lane highway with quite some turns, ups and downs and breakers) the true mileage hovers around 15-16 KMPL.

Are the above figures consistent across other Tiago users?

Will the mileage increase in coming times, say after 10K KMs?

Others Tiago users may kindly share their opinions and mileage of their cars?

Any suggestions for increasing mileage?
