Resetting iPhone when Touch ID is broken?
I upgraded to the SE3 a while ago after this SE2 wouldn’t take a normal charge (only wireless) and home button stopped working (no Touch ID either). I want to reset it but stolen device protection is on, and for whatever reason I just have no significant location history despite it being enabled. (Idk if it clears after a while of being off??). Idk, I just wanted to use it as a trade-in for an upgrade to my SE3 to 17e since I obviously don’t need the SE2. Is there anything I can do to be able to reset it or am I just stuck with a phone I can’t even trade in?
I’ve tried:
• Deleting fingerprints, requires fingerprint.
• Disabling Stolen Device Protection, requires fingerprint.
• Using my SE3 and manually removing the SE2 from my Apple account, didn’t disable stolen device protection.
I’m at a loss I don’t think there’s anything I can do but I figured I’d ask. I just wanted the $100 credit for a trade-in my phone service was offering. :/
