I’m a solo developer based in KZ, and I recently launched my AI startup, Luminify. It's an AI photo studio designed to help e-commerce brands turn basic phone pictures into high-end lifestyle shots.
My target market is the US, and getting noticed there as an indie founder from Central Asia is incredibly tough. But this week, after a lot of hustle and guerrilla marketing, I finally got my first paying customers from the US!
I’m not here to sell anything (unless you randomly run a US apparel brand haha), but I just wanted to share this small win with the local community. It often feels like you have to be in Silicon Valley to build a global SaaS, but the tech scene here in Kazakhstan is growing so fast, and we absolutely can compete on the global stage.
