Hand in Hand-J4 x Shyvana fanart+minor analysis/hc’s
So I I am a really big fan of the new Shyvana Vgu and Jarvan’s cinematic look (he needs an ASU so bad).
It took awhile but i finally finished some fanart I did of them. I made up some outfit designs for them (inspired by the training clothes in the lux comic) and adjust Jarvan’s appearance slightly (sideburns with the stubble). They deserve more sweet fanart. Not just the meme of Jarvan having a dragon gf like Donkey from Shrek.
I want both of them to have credible reasons for liking the other. What would their dynamic be?
Personally, i think they are professional but see the other without pretense. It’s not Prince Jarvan Iv, heir to the throne of demacia the magical Half-dragon Shyvana but rather just Jarvan and Shyvana. Maybe Jarvan writes poetry for her after sparring, maybe Shyvana discusses her travels around Runeterra. Perhaps they just find a quiet spot to sit and hold hands where there are no expectations.
They remind me of Mustang and Hawkeye from Fullmetal Alchemist with a bit of Elend and Vin from Mistborn era 1. I imagine Xin Zhao wouldve liked her. (That would be sweet to see fanart of uncle Xin meeting his Nephew’s Girlfriend)
I hope we see more of Shyvana and J4 together and have their narrative be more positive in spite of any future events (Mageseeker, Noxus/Black rose and possibly the Winged protectors returning)
I also might make a fanfic of this moment i draw.

Ps- I also think Shyvana has some draconic mannerisms and likes shiny things (J4 is her shiny prince though she never dare say that aloud). She ofc would like Demacia for its ideals and helping others but also admire the gleaming city.
