Hi everyone,
I’m having a serious issue with my texture alignment in CS2 and I could use some expert advice.
As you can see in the screenshots, the textures I’ve created in Substance Painter are not sitting correctly on the UVs once imported into the game’s Workbench. Even though I am using the official CS2 weapon models and everything looks perfect inside Substance Painter, the final in-game result is broken and distorted.
One thing I've noticed is that when I import the official OBJ files into Substance Painter, the UV layout there doesn't seem to match Valve's official UV sheet perfectly. Does anyone know why this mismatch occurs between the official files, and is there a known fix or a specific workflow to align them?
I would really appreciate any help or if anyone could share their experience with this.
