I’ve been informed that for one to get into a mates/labourers roles they have to do the citb hs&e test and do the 50 question ecs card test and once all that’s done, then get the relevant ppe (hi vis, steel toe boots), screwdriver set, plier set, level, hammer, tape measure all insulated, you can start applying to every firm for a mate/labourer role
I did research about the apprenticeship route but for some reasons im going for the self funded route, age (early 20s), duration (already got a degree), wage, i’ll get paid peanuts compared to someone going thru the self funded route and progressing quicker, qualifying quicker and increasing their pay massively
some help, direction, tips and links would be much appreciated
