Need help planning Cozumel day trip

So my bf and I are going to Playa del Carmen at the end of May for 4 days. One of those days we want to do a day trip to Cozumel to explore the island and hopefully enjoy some seaweed free beaches. We’re planning on taking a ferry over there but not sure where to go/what to do when we get there. If anyone has any suggestions on beaches/activities/how to get around in Cozumel, I’d really appreciate it!!

So two years ago (almost exactly two years ago), I had a UTI that turned into a kidney infection. I’m prone to UTIs and get them pretty often and back then I wouldn’t treat them and they’d just go away. Until I got the kidney infection and was in the hospital for 4 days.

Ever since, I’ve been super diligent about treating them and trying to prevent them and they’ve definitely occurred less often. The last UTI I had was in February but before that I hadn’t gotten one in over a year which is a long time for me.

I don’t have any UTI symptoms right now, but I’m having pain in my lower back on the left side which I felt when I had the kidney infection years ago. It came on out of nowhere and really hurts but I can’t tell if I slept on it weird the other night or somethings wrong. I don’t have any fevers or nausea and no UTI symptoms so I’m probably just paranoid, but is it possible to get a kidney infection with no UTI or UTI symptoms? And how long should I wait before getting this checked out?

I’m in the middle of finals rn and graduating next week so if it’s a kidney infection, this couldn’t come at a worse time. Last time I had it, I had to withdraw from a class bc I missed the final since I was in the hospital so I’m lowkey freaking out.
