We just adopted the most amazing 3 year old male Great Pyr and I’m looking for some advice.

He is housebroken and never pees inside during the day. He is mostly outside surveying his land but comes in throughout the day and has never had an accident.

We take him out one last time around 930pm and take up his water bowl around 8pm. Almost every morning we have woken up to a puddle of pee somewhere in the house. We typically get up and take him outside between 6-7am so this isn’t a super long night.

My current plan is to take his water up earlier and maybe push his last pee to 1030pm and then close him in our bedroom so I can hear if he’s pacing. Any other ideas?
