If the cause of death is accurate, this was VERY preventable..

In this country we carelessly use the phrase "swallowed his tongue", and it does a shit job describing what happens.

We do NOT (and cannot) swallow our tongues, it's a muscle that, when relaxed, just moves backwards, and blocks the airway, this can happen when we are unconscious and there is a VERY VERY simple "fix" for this, you just lay the person on their side (and placing their limbs a certain way), this is called the Recovery position, and every PE instructor should know it...

Why hasn't this procedure taken place? Does anyone know any additional details about the kid's passing?

This is a question that I have long contemplated, and never really found a satisfying answer to:

-What makes polygamy so "wrong"?

Of course, in the context of Tunisia, that word automatically translates to "الشرع حللنا أربعة" and the famous "طبقو شرع ربي تتحل مشكلة العنوسة"

This is *NOT* where I'm coming from. Having said that, what is so wrong with having multiple partners in a civil union?

Notice that I am not advocating for "up to four wives to a man" exclusively, the "combination" is irrelevant, one man with three women, four men and one woman, hell, it could be just six women or seven men.. As long as they are:

1-Consenting

2-Adults

What are the reasons that this should be such taboo, or forbidden?

I see no difference between restraining the number and restraining the gender.. if two men or two women love each other, they have the right to live together, form the civil union, and what not. (Of course that too is still a crime in this country, but the reason for that shit is obvious)

Polyamory exists, and exclusivity (or demisexuality) is not necessarily the norm for every person (or most people, really), so why do marriages have to live in the shadow of that restriction?

Why is it such taboo to talk about polygamy without being accused by "رجعية" from people who are supposedly progressive, and have that question misinterpreted as the "4 wives model", with no one being able to provide a single proper response?
