Apartment hunting in Rochester MN

Hello All!

I am moving to Rochester to work at the Mayo Clinic and I don't know anyone or anything. What are some go to neighborhoods or apartment buildings to look into? I am looking to go 1,400 max range, but of course the lower the better to help pay off student loans as well.

what do we think about the pines or boulder? or something else?

Since i don't know anyone, it would be nice to live somewhere with younger people in their late 20's 30's as well. I dont think I am interested in a roomate at this time but I would be open to it for the right match/ price. Thanks in advanced!
