Can you request EMG?

Hey everyone,

Since last September I’ve had issues where my right arm and right leg get very sore in use - it is hard to tell if it’s a progressing problem or not at the moment. I’m fine with walking around and can walk up the stairs my right leg just mildly dies for a bit after I reach top of the stairs. I went to physio for my arm and they found tightness in the shoulder and think I might have a rotator cuff injury so that may explain my right arm problem as could extend down the arm and wrist. I can still perform general actions and have no foot drop. probably doesn’t help that I constantly clench my right fist checking for weakness. I’ve noticed for past few days I have a weird feeling in throat and more urge to swallow and can struggle sometimes with swallowing drier foods but don’t choke on food or anything so Im putting that down to anxiety potentially as I know the brain can do crazy things when you think about it too much. I also have full body twitches where sometimes a part of my body randomly jerks. just wondering if i can request for an EMG from the GP to put myself at ease. I hate my brain being like this.

Hey all,

Reading this Reddit forum has provided me a lot of comfort- I’m turning 26 this year and feel like I’ve fallen behind. I‘ve struggled mentally all my life and never had any idea of what I’ve wanted to do. I’m trying to change that now and am planning on potentially doing an access to HE course in radiography but will look at other things. I definitely want to do something related to medical field. I’ve heard about activate learning , learn direct and distance learning. I was leaning towards Activate Learning, is this a good one to go for?

Hey all, looking into online access courses for radiography currently. Are there any that people recommend and are there university success stories with them?
