What’s a good certificate or course I can do fully or mainly remote for skin?
im planning to fully transition careers in the future. Right now I’m in a full time role rn in business/supply chain, but I have a direct path into the aesthetics industry through my sister - she’s a DNP, trainer, and is opening her own med spa. She’s very well respected in our city, so I’m planning to start by helping with social media, marketing, and backend operations.
At the same time, I really want to build my knowledge in skin anatomy, treatments, and overall skin health. I already do a lot of independent research because I’m genuinely interested —especially in areas like the gut-skin connection, Korean skincare, and regenerative treatments like PDRN.
I’m not in a position to start esthetician school just yet, but it’s something I’d consider doing part-time in the next couple of years if I decide to fully pivot into this space. For now, I want to focus on gaining foundational knowledge and experience while supporting her business.
With that in mind, I’m looking for a course or certification I can start now—something flexible and not as time-intensive as esthetician school, but still credible and useful long-term! Im very creative and want something I can use for her marketing and social media posts. Eventually maybe focus on a more skin treatment area in her business while doing her social media
