I went to the open house yesterday and being from the Bronx, it was like a serious culture shift. Not only is it extremely cold, there’s way more white people than I thought, seeing as how the class of 2030 page on instagram is mostly black ppl😭. This isn’t a bad thing to me, but I just want to know if any students there have dealt with a lot of racism, either from teachers or other students. Obviously New York is like the most left state ever, but I’m still scared it’s gonna be maga central lmfao. I’m basically already committed, but I just wanna be prepared. Also looking for a roommate and new friends! Im a psych major, I like roblox, anime, and obviously I care a lot about politics! Hmu!
