PlateCycler Using Only First Filament in Preview When Mixing PLA and PETG Support Material

Hi, and thank you for making such a great product.

I’m trying to use PlateCycler with PLA as the main material and PETG as the support interface material. However, when I check the print preview, it seems to repeatedly print using only the first filament/color, and the support material is also shown as the same color/material.

Is this expected behavior, or could I be missing a setting somewhere?

I built a split keyboard with a 55mm trackball, and honestly… I can’t stay away from this thing anymore.

ZMK firmware, a lot of switches using Charlieplexing, a 55mm trackball, rotary encoders on both sides, and a 4‑way + push switch. It’s absolutely packed with features.

I originally designed and used a wired version called Mooose, but after moving to ZMK and making it possible to go wireless, I added "Free" to the name to reflect the freedom from cables.

Switches: keygeek Y3, Kailh Ghost, and others Keycaps: awekeys Air, etc.

Built on the idea that a keyboard shouldn’t be fixed —

it should evolve.

AA-powered, modular, multi-switch compatible,

with a Lotus layout at its core.

MX, Choc V2, ALPS — pick your poison.

Add modules. Change the feel. Rebuild it.

This project consumed more time (and sanity) than I’d like to admit,

but seeing it come together like this…

yeah, worth it.

Keyboard: GeaconPolaris

Keycaps: Kotori – Shimaenaga (Black)

I offered my soul (and flesh) for this build.

By adding a touch of cuteness,

GeaconPolaris didn’t just improve — it transcended.

I think this is my masterpiece.

Hi everyone,

I’m currently using a Plate Cycler with my Bambu Lab A1 mini, and I’m looking for a way to automate a one-time plate swap.

Right now, I’m using a test file that seems to be designed for continuous cycling. This means I have to manually stop the print as soon as the first swap finishes, which is quite a hassle and defeats the purpose of automation!

Does anyone have a .3mf file or a specific G-code script that:

  1. Triggers the plate swap sequence exactly once?
  2. Naturally ends the print job immediately after the swap is complete?

Thank you in advance for your help!
