Hiring SCAM for Magnolia Medical Technologies
If you are unemployed and looking for work be advised that there are a lot of scams out there.
I was approached with an email stating that I was short listed for a position with Magnolia Medical Technologies and was requested to setup an interview through TEAMS. The interview was either AI driven or just copy and paste by the other party as it was obvious that they did not read my replies.
After ~ 20 minutes I was offered the job and they sent a check via Fed EX (BIG RED FLAG) with next day delivery.
I took the check and package to the bank for them to review before depositing and was informed that not only does the Fed EX package scream SCAM, but the check does not even match any image of a check form the named bank within the past 2 years.
Unfortunately they have my name phone number and mailing address, but that is all that they will get from me.
For reference I am attaching the email, pictures of the check, letter and envelope so others can be aware
