Should I resign and take the risk for a government IT opportunity after passing the Civil Service Exam?

Hi everyone, gusto ko lang sana humingi ng advice lalo na sa mga may experience na sa government work or nag-transition from private to government.

Currently working ako sa IT field handling IT infrastructure/services, and may client kami na government agency. Habang tumatagal, nagiging close ko na rin yung environment nila and may nagsabi sakin na possible daw na may job opportunity for me sa side nila once makapasa ako sa Civil Service Exam (CSE), since need nila ng IT personnel.

Ang plano ko sana is magpasa ng resignation letter this month. Ang company kasi namin may 60 days rendering period, so around July ako possible makaalis officially.

Ang concern ko lang:

Wala pang assurance technically yung government position hangga’t wala pang CSE result at formal offer

Sayang din yung current stable work ko

Pero feeling ko malaking opportunity rin siya for long-term career growth and stability

Gusto ko rin talaga makapasok sa government someday lalo na aligned naman sa experience ko

Iniisip ko rin if:

Worth it bang i-risk yung current job?

Mas okay bang hintayin ko muna official CSE result at job offer bago mag-resign?

O okay lang na maaga ako mag-render dahil matagal din process sa government?
