My justification for Why I think it a good design:

His human resembling kinda old man contrast his extremely cruelty and plain of his personality  
Combine with his “fancy” clothes to represent how he is genuinely polite despite his cruelty and somewhat resemble a vampire fitting his role as and archedemon of gluttony 
both these factors also represented his hypocrisy that despite all of his faux philosophy excuses he just an hedonist gluten 
his demon do a good job at representing gluttony throw his enormous mouth and lack of eyes, his exoskeleton insect like by serve to incorporate beelzebub heavy association with exect and once use gluttony throw skinny body showing gluttony throw indication of and endless, his insect wings resemble those of an angel are extremely fitting he is fallen angel
and his angel from highlight both the aftermention hypocrisy and contrast even further

I also really like the heavy use of body horror 

Lisa/Vasilisa (Make the exorcist fall in Love)

My justification for Why I think its a good design:

The billowing smoke shape of her dress and hat, as well as the skeletonized body all give her halloween which extremely fitting since she witch

and as u/kevinthedot pointed out her witch design is heightened by juxtaposing with how simple and cute her design back when she was just a human as well

also big hats are peak 

also To clarify she technically not Baba Yage , in the story Baba Yaga is amalgamations of various soul that where victims of persecution by the church and this the design of Lisa  one of her previous disciples who became part of her and currently in control of baba yaga the skeletons you see are actually the spirits that reside in the person called Baba Yaga
