Archie and food and resources?

I’m looking for information

Archie’s hatch date is 3/27/25 if I’ve read the 7 correctly. He’s a fancy cockatiel. I have Archie on a seed called safflower gold all natural. And a pellet called rowdy bush.

I have some disability’s that can make something’s like reading the back of a bag challenging for me. This means I have to ask around and watch videos for most of my information.

I’m sketchy on the safflower brand cause I don’t know enough to say if I did a good job besides making sure it didn’t have dyes and looking out for sunflower seeds. And I know rowdy bush isn’t the best pellets out there but isn’t the worst brand and is up there in status. This is information I’ve currently found that I’m hoping is accurate?

I have a scale coming in the mail soon that I’ll be using to weigh Archie daily to ensure he’s not losing or gaining too little or too much weight. I’m open to taking tips and information on what to look for when weighing Archie that would be wonderful! I do have difficulty with math but I got people to help.

And for those wondering I’m rural and at the time we had a vet here but now we don’t unless you drive really far out. And given my parents don’t live with me but are my transportation it’s been a struggle. But I got them to agree that we need to suck it up and get Archie to the vet if it’s ever considered an emergency. I know they’d also agree to getting him

A occasional check up but I just cant do it as often as I’d like so I’m stuck doing a lot on my own. And hoping a new vet shows up in the area soon.

THANKFULLY there’s been no emergency’s. But Archie to me does look a bit on the fat side. I’m concerned with that recently. So I’m trying to get some advice to see what people think. I tossed some cute photos in.

Thank you.

Edit: Archie also gets chop every couple days.

a thank you and a update

I mentioned getting a conure about a year ago and completely forgot to update everyone! But I wanted to say thank you for helping me learn more about conures. I live in an apartment that’s really good with birds but ended up deciding to get a cockatiel. This is due to the noise levels of a conure. I wasn’t sure at the time if I wanted a cockateil but I ended up loving him the second I saw him! His name is Archie and he is a perfect fit for my apartment. And my

Own needs. I’ve had no complaints dispite him being a bit loud in the morning. Id still love a conure someday but it’s not going to be where I’m

Currently living.
