Planning my anniversary trip for the first week of June and stuck choosing between Wayanad vs Ooty vs Munnar.
I know this gets asked a lot, but I’m specifically looking for recent, first-hand experiences during early June (monsoon onset period)—especially from people who’ve actually traveled around that time.
My main concern is how the rains feel on-ground vs what Google says:
Are we talking light, romantic drizzle or heavy, trip-disrupting rain?
Do viewpoints and outdoor spots remain enjoyable or mostly covered in fog?
Any issues with travel/road conditions?
What I’m looking for:
Romantic, peaceful vibe
Enough weather windows to step out and explore
Not completely stuck indoors due to rain
