My paranormal experiences
Thinking about this as I’m currently at my parents home for Easter. I’ve had a number of paranormal experiences in this house that i thought would be interesting to share.
The first one was when i was about 6. My bedroom is located at the top of our stairs, and my brothers and dad are across from eachother at the other end of our hallway, opposite to the stairs. One night in the middle of the night, my brother and i woke up at the same time and left our rooms at the same time. From the top of the stairs, we saw a white apparition at the bottom of the stairs , not in the shape of a body but just kind of a white oval shape. When we went downstairs to investigate, it went away and i looked back upstairs and there it was, at the top of the stairs. We just ended up going back upstairs and back to bed. I don’t remember feeling scared.
After that, growing up, i always thought i heard my dad and brother whispering to each other at night. There was even one time when we were getting ready for bed and i thought i heard my brother whisper my name right outside of my room and when i peaked out to see what he wanted, he wasn’t there. I’ve asked my dad and brother about this later in life and they both said they’ve never whispered to eachother at night, and my brother never whispered my name outside of my bedroom.
Flash forward to when i was 18 or 19. I woke up in the middle of the night. My bedroom door was cracked open and i could see into the hallway as we had a nightlight in it. When i woke up, i saw a silhouette of a male figure standing at my door. Literally just the black silhouette of a person. I felt it was watching me. I froze and just stared at it, at that point i thought it was a real intruder and was prepared for it to enter my room, but it didn’t. It just went away, without making any noise (no footsteps, which is abnormal as our house is old and extremely creaky. The floor makes noises even when our cats walk upstairs). I asked my dad in the morning if he had peaked into my room, and he said no.
My dad has also told me he will hear voices whispering in his ear at night. This has occurred as recently as a few months ago. I think the spirit(s) remain in his room as I’ve never heard whispers directly in my ear, and neither has my brother. My dad said the whispers aren’t intelligible, they’re kinda just like mumbles.
My dad also let me know that when he first moved into our house, he found a grave headstone in our basement, to add onto the creepiness. Anyways, happy Easter everyone!
