Always wear eye protection
That was a hard Lesson learned a few weeks ago.
Scraping the flaky mhrb chips from off the inside grain mill walls after powdering the mhrb and a chip/flake shot directly into my eyeball and stuck to it. Felt like razor blades every time I blinked or tried to close my eyes. It was insanely hard to get off as well took like 10hours of various eye rinsing methods and eventually the one that worked even better then the medicated eye rinse was when I filled a soapy bath and put my face under the water holding my eye open letting it soak and simultaneously using the shower head to spray my eye ball while looking directly into the jet stream, which doing this underwater made it so my eyes could tolerate the jet stream direct to pupil.
I know, it was stupid. And it was a very important lesson learned. Just sharing this so anyone out there not using eye protection might be inclined to do so. And if this does happen to anyone using a shower heads jet stream direct to eyeball *while head is under bath water* worked the best for me.
