Cannot get gmktec nukbox m7 ultra to read amd rx7800xt
purchased an rx7800xt gpu to upgrade from ageforce 4060. I have a minisfourm dock and a 1000watt psu. I originally had a lenovo pc i tried to put the amd egpu on and nothing. I had the little gadget so the pc and the external psu powered on at the same time so the egpu would come on at the correct time. I also had a oculink m.2 1x afapter to plug into the pc and the egpu wouldnt show on the pc. I purchased the gmktec nukbox m7 ultra with built in oculink to step up a bit from the lenovo. I connected everything correctly and cannot get the mini pc to read the amd egpu. The fans spin right away but windows dose not recognize card. If I turn the pc on with the ixulink cable plugged in both of my moniters are blank no display ports work but if I restart with oculink unplugged the pc works fine. If I hot plug the oculink the fans on the egpu start right up. I tried the paperclip trick with the egpu the psu comes on but the egpu fans don't. If I put my 4060 on the dock it comes right on and the monitors work so im at a loss. I tried changing settings in the bios per what I found online and nothing. I need help please....
