I typically use this method for MAFEX but I is the same for CT Toys. Post these videos on Instagram but thought this could help a lot of people.

Loose knee on the CT Toys Scarlet Spider? This one needs heat and a little finesse to pop out the knee then go to town!

Warm up the joint first so you can pop the lower leg off safely and expose the metal rivet inside the knee.

Once it’s exposed, use a 3mm punch tool to gently smush the metal rivet closer to the plastic. That added contact creates friction and tightens the joint without glue or permanent damage.

Reassemble and the knee is solid again with full articulation.

Quick mod, big improvement, and the figure is back to holding dynamic poses instead of collapsing mid-shot.

I have few custom masked headsculpts and added some bulk to the traps after this photo. What customs have you done?

One of the best things about the CT Toys 185 clone is that I could get 3 of them for one MAFEX back in 2024. People always talk bad about bootlegs or KOs but if the price was reasonable then the collectors would not flock to a similar style with minor differences. I keep this guy read for quick photos while my MAFEX is with my custom headsets and Matte coated.

Best part is if I break something on the CT I can swap out a part quickly.

What would the ingredients would a Symbiote use for making doughnuts?

I find a lot of extra accessories on eBay, websites or Aliexpress to outfit my SHF Deadpool. I picked up a few of the new ones last year for customization and to reenact some moments I felt would be worth it photography. Now these were initially too bronze when they arrived but easily fixed with some Vallejo metallic airbrush paint.
