I messed up, but I got it all back.
All drives are external portables. I had plugged in my 6TB Micron Crucial X10, probably about 4-8 seconds passed before I plugged in my HDD and I heard the disconnect and reconnect tones from my laptop. When I went to check the drives the micron drive was now listed as Local Disk and no details would display. Trying to open properties did nothing, and attempting to open the drive makes windows explorer crash and restart. So I hit the drive with Disk Drill and recovered the same volume of data that was on the drive previously, I have 5.4 tb in an amalgamation of different data types and I’m not sure if I can do anything with most of it. The drive contained a large chunk of Steam games, which isn’t a problem because of cloud saves, but I lost a majority of my 2 tbs in roms for systems ranging from NES-PS3 and 360.
All of those are gone now, aren’t they? I haven’t formatted the drive yet, is there any possible way to re-access the drive?
