Hi friends, I just stumbled across a new-ish band from Colorado called Bugs Frogs & Snakes! And I’ve been loving their sound but I’m struggling to find similar bands that scratch this itch. Please share your favorite melodic mathrock bands (not sure what to call this) or ones that you feel balance crazy riffs and cool lyrics and melodies!!

Hermanos Gutiérrez just launched their own label called Discos Gutiérrez and are bringing their whole early catalog under it.

Feels like part of a bigger trend right now where artists are building their own ecosystems instead of relying on traditional labels.

What do y’all think? Is this a good move?
