I feel like over these past few months of studying and stressing I’ve come to recognize some of the names on this thread.

This community has been really helpful as I don’t know anyone in my stage of the CFA. These test are isolating and it’s hard to find others that understand.

To start I make 125k base 25-30% target bonus as a Senior Quantitative ResearchAnalyst in the Asset management arm of a major Broker Dealer- not in a top tier city, but a major city

I have MSF, CFA and 4.5 years of work experience, 2.5 in quant.

Felt like it was good pay a year ago but now it seems crazy low after doing more research.

Is it worth jumping ship after a year? What should I target if I don’t really want to live in NYC/ SF
