My E15 Experiance and support
Hi,
We got our E15 last year and i liked the machine but felt it cut too short, also having 1/4 acre it took around 2 days to cut - the blades would wear out in almost zero time then the screw heads would be damaged causing more issues getting new blades in. The machine would constantly overheat causing more frustration. I just suspected it was a new technology and would be fixed over time - I was wrong.
I got our machine out of winter storage and set it off to cut the grass. we had already done a rough cut with the petrol mower as is was over grown.
The E15 at this point refused to go more than a few feet without getting stuck then overheating. All the checks were done with it set to 75mm, the machine was scalping the lawn.
This was my Eurika momentand i contacted Eufy / Anker.
They ran the checks and agreed that there was an issue with the machine, the cutting deck was failing to adjust to the correct height and was just digging the lawn up - in the summer it wasnt so apparent as the ground was harder - the soft ground worked like a anchor.
The return was easy other than the local post offices refusing to take the 13kg box, i had to take it to the sorting office to get it sent.
My biggest frustration was getting the lawn remapped - that took all day like last time with constant getting stuck alerts where our dogs keep digging (i wish there was an easier way whilst mapping to tell the robot to avoid areas).
The new machine then went off and done its first cut - 5 hrs, our old one would take about 2 days. Zero overheats - lots of charges but our garden looks like a carpet again. I think the old machine was always defective - the hard ground stopped it digging in but late march early april ground levels showed it was actually defective.
Im wondering if people on here having problems with thier machines are suffering the same issues i have, Eufy / anker stand by thier products and will get it sorted asap
Ive put a video of the defective machine set to 75mm cut to show what the fault looks like - you can see here why i was having overheating problems and running though all the blades in no time. I hope this helps someone out in the future and stops the frustration - the machine is truely excellent piece of kit and i would hate its reputation to be affected because of a fault.
