I need opinions and possible stories

TLDR: is it possible to get a positive pregnancy test 10 days after your period? And if so, how did that end for you?

So here’s the scoop;

TTC for two years in August with one CP over a year and a half ago. I’ve seen all the indents and evaps. This was not that.

Last month, I had some stress. I’m about 89% sure my ovulation ended up being delayed due to this. That’s an important start. I always get the same symptoms during ovulation and I had a little EWCM but nothing crazy until about CD22-26 and that was when I got all my typical signs. Sore boobs, light cramps, a ton of EWCM, heightened libido. So I assumed I ovulated then.

My period was late. I use Flo and it had the “your period may start today” for three days and then I had three more days of “your period is late” and then on CD 35/36 my period came (I’m typically a 28/30 days girl) it was heavy enough that I needed a pad for about 4 days, and then 3 days of brown light discharge and blood. It didn’t feel like a normal period, I had no cramps during, no clots or stringy bits, just dark blood.

Fast forward to yesterday, CD 10. I’ve been having a bunch of random medical issues lately (last 2-3 weeks), a lump in one breast, headaches, absolutely EXHAUSTED no matter how much or how little I sleep, peeing all the time. Genuinely was starting to think I was seriously sick (like cancer/diabetes sick) but my dr said the lump was normal and hormonal. But I still didn’t feel right so I took and test but think i peed too much so the dye looked weird and I went to toss it, about 20 mins later I noticed it had two lines, a VERY faint but definitely there second line. I’m getting more tests delivered tomorrow, but just need to know the odds of it actually being a true positive? It’s more likely an invalid test right?

I already know 🙌🏻

So don’t tell me, cause I am aware but here’s the situation. I’ve been TTC for 2 years come August so I’ve been around the block a time or two and I’m not new to a funky test here and there.

HOWEVER- here’s what happened, my period this month was a little late. Nothing super crazy like 4-5 days late. Late enough that my flo app said it was a true late period by 3 days at least. I had been testing up until about 1-2 days before my period started, and they were all negative so then I was like whatever I’ll just wait for it to start.

Period happens, not exactly “normal” period for me. It’s a little lighter than normal but definitely still heavy, 4 full days of bleeding (no clots or stringy pieces if that’s relevant) that I had to wear a pad for, and then I had like 3 days of light brown discharge at the end of it when I wiped.

Fast forward to yesterday, CD 10, my ovulation is supposed to start soon but I’ve been a little sus just because I’ve been having a lot of weird things going on lately. My dog won’t leave me alone she even insists on sleeping next to me now (new she didn’t before), I’m exhausted and peeing 24/7, and I ended up with a lump in my breast that’s from a change in hormones according to my doctor so I took a test. Problem is, I peed on the strip (the first of the I know I know) and when it started developing I thought it looked funny and I messed it up so I just tossed it. But about 20 mins later I went to brush my teeth and saw it had a 2nd line. In the picture it looks broken but it’s a complete line all the way across and it DOES HAVE COLOR I’ve seen a LOT like a lot a lot of indents and evaps but none that have so much color.

TLDR: Weird period, possible faint positive on CD 10 after having multiple negatives before my “period” Has something like this ever happened to you? How did it end up?

Writing and Editing Courses

Hi Everyone!

I am on a search for good writing, editing and proofreading classes/courses online or local to me (Southern Maine area) that are free or reasonably priced!

There are so many sites out there that are scammy and fake and just steal your money without actually teaching you anything. I’ve taken some basic classes in highschool, but just want to further my education and experience.

Would I be better off reaching out to local community college and things like that or are there actually some good resources online? I looked into Coursera, but wasn’t a huge fan of how their reviews looked when I dug into it. So if others have better experiences I’m willing to hear you out!
