Beat the game for the first time, want to try beating it again without certain upgrades as a challenge. Is it possible?

This feels disgusting. Stupid little drain flies or sewer flies or whatever keep showing up in my bathroom and I don’t know how! I like to think I keep things pretty clean. I regularly wipe my sink and toilet, I fill the toilet bowl with water incase they somehow climb in from there from the tank. I even bought a fly trap that works wonders.

But despite all of that, they just keep coming! The problem is getting even worse now the heat is picking up and I feel like I’m living like a pig!
